The Volante String Quartet performs light classical music in a range of styles from Baroque to Impressionist, as well as pieces with a jazzier style. Made up of two violinists, a violist and a cellist, the Volante String Quartet has been performing for private functions and weddings since 2009. All the current members are studying music, either at the University of Calgary or the Conservatory of Music at Mount Royal University, and are active as solo performers as well as in the quartet.
